<title>Kaleidoscope - Latest News</title>
<description>
Our production of "The Boy Friend" won "Best Youth Musical" in the Wharfedale Festival of Theatre Awards. This was announced at the Awards evening last weekend. Lucy Bairstow, Will Gore, David Pedrick and Rachel Pronger all won "Outstanding performance" awards, Gemma Shelton gained a certificate of Merit for her performance, and Rosemary Grainger won the Best Director award in the Youth section.

Two members of Kaleidoscope are supporting the Bingley Show by helping with the pre-show publicity.  Hannah Newman and Charlotte Reynard will be passengers in the Vintage Car tour on Saturday August 9th, promoting the Show on August 10th.
<![CDATA[<br/>]]><![CDATA[<br/>]]>
A new play,"The Whisperers", written by Hattie Townsend is to be performed as part of Saltaire Festival this September. The play is based on real local history events  and performances will take place on September 13th, 14th and 15th in the Victoria Hall. The cast includes six members of Kaleidoscope, Georgina Barber, Charlotte Reynard, Gemma Shelton, Alice Smithson, Sinead Wright and Ethan Woodhouse-Kent and also one of the Kaleidoscope tutors, Sally Edwards.

<title>Something's Afoot</title>

'Something's Afoot' is a murder mystery musical that spoofs the whodunnit genre. The book, music, and lyrics were written by James McDonald, David Vos, and Robert Gerlach and the story involves a group of people who are invited to the estate of Lord Dudley Rancour on a dark and stormy night. When the wealthy lord is found dead, it becomes a race against the clock to find out whodunnit.<![CDATA[<br/>]]>
