John (Footman) in Jane Ayre
Ian is a valued member of the set-building team at BLT and recently added a new dimension to his skills controlling the lighting for this season's Perfect Pitch. On-stage he is a regular player in character parts, most recently as the huntsman in last season's Taming of the Shrew.

Mrs Fairfax in Jane Ayre
Marilyn is a long term member of BLT and has been involved in a number of and musicals both here and with Keighley Playhouse, Bradford Players and Bingley Amateurs. Most recently for BLT she played Anna in last season's Five Blue Haired Ladies.
Vicky Band
Leah (Maid) in Jane Ayre
One of our younger members, Vicky made her third main house appearance for BLT in this season's Jane Eyre, the others being two seasons ago in Katherine Howard and The Weekend. In between has been ASM for Kaleidoscope productions A Midsummer Nights Dream and The Boyfriend.
Chris Bentley
Roland in Present Laughter
Present Laughter was Chris's debut outing for BLT but he has been involved in many local theatre groups including Yeadon Amateur Operatic Society, The Potato Room Players and Ilkley Players.
Jim Brooks
Constable Downs in Tom, Dick and Harry
Jim's first speaking role on stage at BLT was in last season's The Taming of the Shrew but he is well known here for his work in Sound and Effects, and his recorded voice has been heard in several of our plays.
Rosie Brooks
Mrs Potter in Tom, Dick and Harry
After several walk-on parts, Rosie made a great impression in her first major role as Rose in last season's Five Blue Haired Ladies. Rosie also works hard for BLT backstage as props or ASM, and has served on the stage and publicity committees.
Mark Brown
Assistant to Director I'll be Back Before Midnight, Fred in Present Laughter
Best remembered at BLT for his splendid impersonation of Benny Hill's alter-ego, Fred Scuttle in last season's Dead Funny. This season Mark decided to try his hand at directing, assisting the experienced Gilly Rogers in I'll be Back Before Midnight.

Director Good Things
An experienced actor and director both at BLT and Ilkley Playhouse with numerous productions to his credit. Making a welcome return this season after last directing for BLT with the play Gypsy in 1996.
Laura Campbell
Laura in I'll be Back Before Midnight
A well known local actor last seen at BLT in last season's closer, Something's Afoot. Laura has had to limit her theatrical activities at the moment as small son Simon demands most of her time and attention.
Haydn Cavanagh
Harry in Tom, Dick and Harry
Haydn has had a number of acting roles at BLT over the years as well as directing Death and the Maiden and the much acclaimed production of Neville's Island.
Rhiannon Cawthorne
Linda in Tom, Dick and Harry
Rhiannon is a relative newcomer to the senior ranks at BLT having made her debut in a walk-on part in Ladies’ Day at the beginning of last season. Her performance in T.D.&H this time around showed a maturity that totally belied her relative inexperience.
Sandra Chewins
Susan in Good Things
One of our most experienced actresses who has also performed at Bradford Playhouse and recently with an experimental theatre company "The Silverhammer", taking on the parts of Mesphistopheles in 'Faust' and Barbara Streisand in 'For Sale'. She is married to Paul Chewins who has also appeared in numerous plays for BLT and last year directed Dead Funny.

Garry Essendine in Present Laughter
Paul's dramatic experience extends to directing and acting over 150 plays, his most recent appearance for BLT being an impressive outing as Henry VIII in Katherine Howard.
Anna Clarke
Liz in Present Laughter
Anna's face is well known here at BLT having appeared in many productions for us including Kate in last season's diamond anniversary production of Taming of the Shrew.

Grace Poole in Jane Ayre
Helen has been involved in local theatre for many years, directing, choreographing and acting in many plays and musicals with various societies. Made a welcome return to BLT in Jane Eyre this season, her last involvement being six years past directing and acting in Nunsense.

Director Jane Eyre
Jan's most recent on-stage appearance for BLT was Miss Tweed in last season's Something's Afoot, the same play in which she made her BLT debut twenty-nine years ago! (then playing Hope). As well as being an accomplished actor and director, she is a member of the Reading and Casting Committee.
June Driver
Leonora Fiske in Ladies in Retirement
A past BLT chairman and well-known local actress, most recently for BLT as Flora Pelmet in We Happy Few. Frequently works behind the bar on thursdays and last season took a hand in producing the wonderful costumes for Kaleidoscope's The Boyfriend.
Jenny Dulson
Miss Erickson in Present Laughter
Jenny joined BLT with her husband Trevor and son Matt around a year ago. She was ASM to Trevor's SM for Ladies in Retirement and they did the props together for I'll be Back Before Midnight. Present Laughter was her first outing in front of the lights for BLT.
Sally Edwards
Jane Eyre in Jane Ayre
Jane Eyre was Sally's acting debut for BLT although he has prior experience with other local groups. She is also much involved with youth drama, having been a tutor with Kaleidoscope since 2007 as well as running Drama Workshops throughout the area and writing plays for children.
David Elliott
Richard Mason in Jane Eyre
David is well known for his appearances with amateur groups throughout the area spanning the last twenty years. Although he considers the Great Horton Theatre Company to be his main group he is a valuable member of the actors list at BLT and most recently appeared for us as Biff in last season's acclaimed Death of a Salesman.
Frank Etchells
Boris in Tom, Dick and Harry
Frank’s first appearance for BLT was in A View from the Bridge in 2006. Since then has become a familiar face at BLT including a highly praised performance as Hortension in our 60th Season gala production ot The Taming of the Shrew
Jason Evens
Mr Rochester in Jane Ayre
Jason performed in numerous roles whilst studying at Leeds University which also took him to the Edinburgh Fringe and the National Student Drama Festival. For BLT, Jason has done valuable work in sound and lighting and last season had two voice only parts as well as appearing on-stage as Nigel Rancour in Something's Afoot.
Julian Freeman
Ron in Perfect Pitch
An experienced and versatile actor, Julian has played many leading roles for BLT, his last being a virtuoso performance as Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman. Julian is also a member of our Reading and Casting Committee whilst still finding time to work as an extra on various film and TV productions.
Rosemary Grainger
Director Ladies in Retirement
Has for the past five years been responsible for the youth drama groups (Kaleidoscope) at BLT, and has directed all the Kaleidoscope productions in the Bingley Arts Centre. Has led her charges to a remarkable record of success in the LAMDA examinations and in local competitions.

Steph in Pefect Pitch
An experienced actress, Liz has appeared in a number of productions here at BLT this year won the Best Actress award at the Wharfedale Festival for her portrayal of Rita in Educating Rita at Baildon.
Catherine Helliwell
Sister Theresa in Ladies in Retirement
Was heavily involved in local theatre in this area before moving to East Yorkshire in 1985. Since returning last year (2007) she has slotted smoothly back into BLT as ASM and in props and wardrobes before again treading the boards.
Laura Judge
Joanna in Present Laughter
Joanna made a welcome return to BLT in Present Laughter after a period spent busily working in TV - including "The Royal Today", "Emmerdale" and "Fat Friends". Laura is also co-director of "Double-Take", a children's theatre company.

Morris in Present Laughter
David is well known around the area for his appearances in, and direction of, numerous musicals - including Victor/Victoria for BLT.
Tim Lobley
Henry in Present Laughter
Tim's last appearance for BLT was as Charley in Death of a Salesman though he might be better remembered for his excellent performance as Duncan McFee two years ago in Double Double.

Ellen Creed in Ladies in Retirement
A seasoned actress whose recent roles for BLT have all been challenging ones requiring her to play characters with strong accents and/or a considerable age gap, most notably Helga in season 59's 'Allo 'Allo.
Robin Martin
Frazer in Good Things
Robin is the current editor of our newsletter and has had a long association with BLT as both actor and director, most recently directing Five Blue Haired Ladies on a Green Park Bench in which he also appeared in a cameo role.
Stephen Mason
Co-Director Good Things
Stephen has directed several plays at Ikley Playhouse in recent years and was assistant director here for Night of the Iguana in 2007. He is also on the board of the board of the nationally acclaimed Pilot Theatre based in York.

Reverend Wood in Jane Eyre
Stephen is best known for his back-stage work at BLT - ASM, set-design, set-building and props being amongst his many accomplished as well as being our Front of House Manager. Stephen still manages to find time to appear on stage in character parts, most recently in last season's opener Ladies' Day.

Katerina in Tom, Dick and Harry
Julie has only recently moved into the area and we were delighted to welcome her to BLT when she took her first role with us as Belinda in last season's Bad Blood; an excellent debut performance that earned her considerable praise.

Director Pefect Pitch
Kevin acknowledges that his theatrical career started quite late but he has certainly made up for lost time appearing in and director many shows across the region. His most recent directorial outing for BLT was in the very funny 'Allo 'Allo two years ago.
Michaela Morris
Blanche / Bertha in Jane Eyre
Michaela made her acting debut for BLT in the testing role of two very different characters in this season's Jane Eyre. Michaela's interest in acting began at school and continued through University where she acted in numerous productions.

Greg in I'll be Back Before Midnight
Anthony has appeared in a number of BLT productions including Room at the Top, A Servant to Two Masters, A Flea in Her Ear and Sweet William. He recently made his debut at Keighley Playhouse in The Woman in White.

Yvonne in Perfect Pitch, Monica in Present Laughter
A firm believer in being involved, Deborah is a new recruit to our Reading and Casting Committee having already worked in props, wardrobe and set painting as well as appearing on stage.

An experienced actor who has recently appeared for BLT in Night of the Iguana and Death of a Saleman as well as taking on roles for Ilkley Playhouse, Keighley Playhouse, and the Westgate Drama Group in Baildon.

Another product of, and shining advertisement for, Kaleidoscope. Played Polly in last season's Kaleidoscope production of The Boyfriend. Has successfully completed LAMDA grade 7 an 8 is pending.

Last seen at BLT as Eva Reisch in Five Blue Haired Ladies Sitting on a Green Park Bench, June is an experienced actress who has played in a variety of roles in plays and musicals in Bradford and Keighley as well as here in Bingley.

Marjorie in Good Things, Director I'll be Back Before Midnight
Mother of Jamie Rogers and married to Ian Wilkinson, Gilly is a tireless worker for BLT. She is a past Chairman and our current Artistic Coordinator as well as being a member of the Reading and Casting Committee. Most recently appeared for BLT as Lisa in Dead Funny.

Albert Feather in Ladies in Retirement
Son of Gilly Rogers and stepson of Ian Wilkinson, Jamie has been a part of local amateur theatre all his life and studied Performing Arts at college, gaining experience in various roles with BLT, Kaleidoscope and BAOS.

Former BLT chairman and one of our longer serving and most experienced actor/directors. Jonathan both directed and appeared in, at short notice, our diamond anniversary gala production of Taming of the Shrew.

Mark has been busy recently at Ilkley and Keighley, but his last appeared for BLT prior to T.D.&H was Out of Order in 2002. Six years was much too long, we were delighted to welcome him back.

Adele in Jane Ayre
Yet another Kaleidoscope graduate making her main house debut in this season's Jane Eyre. Alice acheived a distinction in her LAMDA grade 8 exam and is looking forward to taking up her place on an Acting Course at University.
David Templeton

David is a very experienced actor, much in demand in the area. In addition to acting, stage managing and directing for BLT he is also our current Ticket Secretary. Recent BLT roles have included Jim the Gardener in Humble Boy and the villainous Jack in Bad Blood.

Emily Creed in Ladies in Retirement
Has fifty years experience in amateur theatre as both actor and director. By strange coincidence, 50 years ago, aged 17 she appeared in Ladies in Retirement as Lucy, and 17 years ago, aged 50, she played Ellen.

Dick in Tom, Dick and Harry
Peter has entertained, amused and enthralled BLT audiences on many occasions. He likes character roles and enjoyed himself recently playing all the male parts in Keighley’s version of Ladies’ Day.

Andreas in Tom, Dick and Harry
Ian directed last season's finale Something’s Afoot, which earned great acclaim and played to packed audiences. He has extensive experience in the theatrical world and has been a recent chairman of Ilkley Players and a former President of Ilkley Operatic Society.

Present Laughter was only Sharon's second outing for BLT but she has performed in many plays at Yeadon Town Hall, most recently in Billy Liar, as well in numerous musicals throughout the region.

A long-standing member of BLT and former Chairman who has a great deal of acting experience - mosty recently for BLT as Edith Artois in 'Allo 'Allo. On occasions has been a valued member of the warderobe team.

Ian is well known throughout the region with many BLT credits to his name, the last being as Tom in Bad Blood. He is current Chairman of the Reading and Casting Committee alongside his wife, Gilly Rogers, who is Artistic Coordinator. Has also appeared in locally shot film and TV dramas.
